On 23 September 2026, the Trustpilot profile for litbuy.com displayed a notice that its company rating was unavailable because of a breach of the review service's guidelines. The profile also stated that some fake reviews had been removed. An old screenshot showing an overall score therefore should not be presented as the current rating.
That notice matters when evaluating recommendations. It does not establish that every remaining account is false, and it does not settle the outcome of a particular order. Read the dated notice and the details of a relevant report separately rather than replacing either with a simple verdict about every purchase.
What question are you trying to answer?
Someone deciding whether to use a product collection needs different information from someone investigating a delayed parcel. A review can be relevant to one question without answering the other. Before reading through many comments, write down the decision you need to make.
For collection quality, the LitBuy spreadsheet review considers whether recommendations help identify products and options. For account and transaction boundaries, use the safety guide. Trustpilot discussion should not be treated as an inspection record for every product in a spreadsheet.
Separate the event date from the posting date
A recently published comment may describe an older order. An updated comment may contain a new outcome that changes how its original complaint should be read. Look for the sequence rather than assuming the most visible date is the start of the purchase.
When a post mentions waiting, identify what the author was waiting for: seller dispatch, warehouse processing, packing, a carrier scan or a support response. Those are not interchangeable intervals. Counting from payment in one report and international dispatch in another produces an unreliable comparison.
If the sequence is unclear, keep that uncertainty in your interpretation. Do not fill in an unreported delivery or refund simply because time has passed or a company response appears below the comment.
A response and a resolution are different evidence
A reply can acknowledge a complaint, request information or propose an action. It does not, by itself, demonstrate that the proposed action was completed. Look for a later account of what actually happened before treating the case as resolved.
This distinction also applies to praise. A helpful conversation can be a positive support experience without proving that a parcel arrived, a payment reconciled or an item matched its description. Keep the assessment attached to the event described.
For your own enquiry, the support guide helps explain the observed problem and desired result. Save private order references for the appropriate support channel rather than adding them to a public review to make it seem more convincing.
Compare cost reports without inventing a typical price
A single shipping amount is not a price list. To compare a report with your purchase, you would need the relevant destination, service, parcel inputs, date and scope of charges. A discount may also change what the author paid without making that amount available to another account.
Likewise, a complaint about a reduction needs the original eligible amount and the applied conditions before its arithmetic can be assessed. Do not assume every fee in a displayed total belongs to the same discount base. Ask for the applicable explanation rather than selecting whichever interpretation gives the largest saving.
The shipping guide and coupon guide cover those comparisons. They help turn a concern raised by a review into a concrete question about your own offer, instead of treating the review as a universal tariff or promotion.
Keep product judgement separate from service reputation
A favourable service account cannot confirm the fit of an unrelated garment. A dissatisfied parcel customer may still describe an item accurately. Assess the product using its own selected variation and relevant measurements rather than transferring the tone of the whole review to every detail.
For example, if you are comparing layers, open the ribbed crewneck sweater on OG and check the option and dimensions relevant to how you intend to wear it. That product page is a selection starting point, not evidence that a Trustpilot reviewer purchased or tested it. Its ribbed appearance does not establish warmth or material composition.
Use the QC guide for visible inspection questions. A service rating cannot replace those checks, and a warehouse photograph cannot establish every longer-term property of the item.
Avoid reading a comment stream as a success rate
Public comments do not give you the complete set of orders and outcomes needed to calculate a personal probability of success. Nor does repeated wording establish several independent transactions. Read what the accounts actually document and avoid turning the number of similar comments into a statistic the evidence does not support.
You can still use a recurring concern to decide what to ask before paying. For example, uncertainty about a charge calls for an explanation of that charge in your current offer. It does not require copying another customer's payment details or treating their dispute as your own.
Questions about the LitBuy Trustpilot page
Can I quote an older overall score as the current score?
No. Keep the date attached to any historical score and describe it as a snapshot from that date. If you need to discuss the current display, check it again, including any notice that affects how the score should be interpreted. Do not fill a missing current value with an older number.
Does the warning prove that every customer report is invented?
No. Do not extend the notice beyond what it says. Assess each report's context without assuming that it establishes a complete or independently verified transaction history.
Should I post an order screenshot to ask for help?
Remove personal and account information before any public sharing. A focused description of the stage and issue is often more useful than an unredacted receipt. Keep sensitive identifiers in the private support conversation.
